In February 2019, The Black Muslim Initiative and the Tesselate Institute launched the findings of a systematic review of published and unpublished literature on Black Muslims in Canada, conducted by Dr. Fatimah Jackson-Best. This review was the first of its kind to consolidate, analyze and report on the Black Muslim experience in a Canadian context.
